(and pets!!) or a group of friends just wanting to get away. Complete with amazing views of Claytor Lake,
this recently remodeled home has a
wrap-around deck with ample space for gathering
and relaxing. Grill out and
enjoy dining under the shaded dining area.
Retreat to our "secret garden" to snooze in the hammock. Enjoy your coffee on the deck in the
mornings. Swim and adventure in the afternoon.
Sip on a cocktail while watching the sun set.

Happy Tails provides unique
opportunities for enjoyment. Snuggle by the fire when there is a chill in the air. Spring brings about renewed life with new buds and the temptation  to explore our beautiful New River Valley. Hike the New River Trail State Park and
various other hiking spots throughout the area.
Take a tour of local wineries.

Summer provides fun in the sun on the lake with
boating, paddleboarding, or just
floating around the "no wake" cove.
Autumn offers the vibrant views of the shifting fall
colors and the opportunity to cheer on the
VT Hokies and RU Highlanders! 
Your guests can swim in front of the house in
the cove to the right of the boat ramp.
Less than a mile away is Harry DeHaven Park
with a public boat launch, fishing pier,
swimming access and picnic areas.
Boat, paddleboard and kayak rentals are available
through various companies located on and
around the lake. Mountain 2 Island at
Rock House Marina gives us a
Lakewood Getaways discount.
